[edit] Usage of the word or phrase

  • As an adjective, kawa does not usually precede the noun it qualifies. Hence one would say: "The concert was kawa" and not "It was a kawa concert".
  • As an interjection, kawa is used in exactly the same way as "great" or "fantastic" in standard English.
