Idi Amin Dada

Idi Amin Dada (1924 - 16 August 2003) was Uganda's president from January 1971 to April 1979. The former military dictator is accused of perpetrating the murder of up to 500,000 Ugandans during his eight-year rule. After he was overthrown, Amin lived in exile in Saudi Arabia until his death on 16 August 2003.
